Visits to film piracy sites worldwide 2021

In the third quarter of 2021, film piracy sites worldwide recorded around 5.29 billion visits, up from 3.24 billion visits in the third quarter of the previous year. This represents an annual increase of over 60 percent. Compared to the second quarter of 2021, the number of visits to movie piracy sites in the third quarter that year was nearly 17 percent higher. India, Turkey, and the United States were the leading countries for the highest number of visits to film piracy sites worldwide.
