In 2020, almost 22 percent of consumers in Germany had selected a brand or bought a product because they had previously seen these on an influencer's YouTube or Instagram account. Around 72 percent did not. The survey was conducted in Germany in 2020 to evaluate purchase decisions based on information from influencers.
