Discretionary assets under management of Fidelity by asset class 2021
Over half of Fidelity's 4.2 trillion U.S. dollars of discretionary assets under management (AUM) were equity assets. This asset class comprised by far the largest portion of Fidelity's discretionary AUM, with no other asset class reaching one trillion U.S. dollars. Discretionary assets include all assets in managed accounts over which Fidelity has discretion, and therefore cover Fidelity's AUM allocated to mutual funds and exchange traded funds (ETFs).
