According to a survey by Rakuten Insight in June 2024, approximately 41 percent of the female respondents in Thailand stated that they did not subscribe to any SVoD service providers because it was too expensive. Meanwhile, around 26 percent of the male participants in the country did not subscribe to such services because they could access the shows on other channels for free or cheaper.
