Value of imports from Africa into Morocco 2020, by country
In 2020, Morocco imported most of its goods from Egypt, in comparison to other countries in the African region. Imports from the country amounted to more than 5.5 billion Moroccan dirhams (MAD) (equivalent to around 616.6 million U.S. dollars). Moreover, Algeria and Tunisia each made exports to Morocco that reached approximate values of 4.1 billion and 1.9 billion MAD (roughly 459.3 million and 212.9 million U.S. dollars), respectively. Overall in 2020, exports from Africa into Morocco added up to around 14.1 billion MAD.
