Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games viewership in Russia 2021, by age
The most active Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games TV broadcasts in Russia was the population group aged 55 years and older, according to a survey from August 2021. More than 30 percent of respondents in that age category watched the events on TV from time to time, while 14 percent did it systematically. In contrast, the youngest age group from 18 to 24 years had the largest share of respondents who stated they were not interested in the events.
