Average annual wages based on nationality in Spain 2020, by gender
In 2020, women working in Spain received, on average, a lower wage than their male counterparts, regardless of their nationality. The pay gap was particularly conspicuous in the case of employees from European countries not in the EU and from Africa. Citizens from the American continent working in Spain received an average wage of 17,929 euros per year.
