Main topics of online hate speech in Italy 2020

According to a study conducted in 2020, the most common topics of hate speech recorded online in Italy was Islamophobic content. In over 20 thousand posts and tweets, 67 percent of content containing hate speech related to Islamophobia. Other main topics of online hate speech that year were racism, Antiziganism, and sexism.
