Among leading commercial banks in 2020 in China, CCB spent around 17.6 billion yuan in investments in FinTech. In the same year, ICBC invested around 16.4 billion yuan in FinTech companies. In the last years, the FinTech industry had grown significantly and new technologies such as big data and AI had become more and more promising fields for investments.
