In April 2021, the number of transactions made via Paycoin by people in their thirties in South Korea amounted to about 428 thousand, the highest number across all age groups.
Founded in 2019, Paycoin is a blockchain-based payment project by Danal Fintech. The cryptocurrency Paycoin (PCI) can be used to pay at various affiliated online and offline stores simply through the Paycoin payment app on the mobile phone. Since June 2021, local customers can also pay with Bitcoin by converting Bitcoin to Paycoin in the app.
