South Africa: net flow of internationally mobile students

In South Africa, the net flow of internationally inbound and outbound students in 2019 reached an estimated value of 30,209, which meant that more foreigners were studying in the country (inbound students) than South Africans studying abroad (outbound students). The highest mobile student net value was registered in 2011 at 63,853. Since 2012, the net flow has been relatively stable between around 35,600 in 2012 and 30,200 in 2019.
