Property types of residential real estate bought by foreign buyers in the U.S. 2022
About 64 percent of foreign buyers of residential real estate in the United States bought detached single family houses in the period between April 2021 and March 2022. In comparison, only five percent of foreign buyers bought residential land. During the same period, the largest buyer group was Canadian.
