Mortgage lenders' outlook on profit margins in the U.S. 2018-2021
In the second quarter of 2021, 69 percent of surveyed mortgage lenders in the United States expected that profit margins would decrease in the next three months. In comparison, in the second quarter of 2020, only 23 percent shared this opinion. Among the main drivers of profit margin decrease were competition and market trend changes.
