Opinions on the level of corruption in public institutions in Ghana 2008-2019
In a survey conducted between September and October 2019 in Ghana, 57 percent of the respondents indicated that most or all police were corrupt. Moreover, the share of respondents who thought that corruption was prevalent among most or all members of parliament as well as judges and magistrates reached 36 percent and 40 percent, respectively. Comparing results on the level of corruption among public workers since 2008, it is visible that the respondents' perception of corruption generally increased.
