Between 2010 and 2020, the size of IPOs on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) annually varied greatly with 2014 being the year with the highest value of IPO proceeds. In 2020, IPO proceeds amounted to 5.23 billion U.S. dollars on this stock exchange, which was about three times less than the 2014 value. However, the volume of IPOs on the ASX in 2014 and 2020 were almost the same.
