Households with improved, not shared sanitation India 2005-2016, by social group
In the year 2015-16, around 37 percent of households from scheduled castes had improved, not shared sanitation in India. In the same year, around 26 percent of households from scheduled tribes had improved, not shared sanitation. The total share of households with improved, not shared sanitation grew from 29 percent in 2005-06 to 48.4 percent in 2015-16.
