Number of graduates from upper secondary schools in Iceland 2000-2020, by gender
In Iceland, 2,697 of the 5,303 graduates from upper secondary high schools in 2019 were women; 2,606 were men. The total number of graduates has increased among both genders since the school year 2000-2001, but there are still more women graduating from upper secondary high schools than men. However, the gap was only marginal in the school year 2019-2020.
