Mobile dating relationship development in Russia 2021

Nearly three out of ten Russians who had at some point used dating apps reported having a closing relationship with a person they met in a dating app, according to a survey from September 2021. Furthermore, for over 10 percent of respondents, a relationship in a dating app developed into a marriage. In 62 percent of cases, the respondents only texted their online acquaintances and did not meet them in person.
