Total household savings in France 2000-2020
Household savings in France constantly oscillated between the years 2000 and 2020. In 2000, this figure was just shy of 40 billion euros, while ten years later, it had surpassed the threshold of 80 billion euros. This indicator takes into account the part of the household income invested in financial products, such as life insurance policies or stock options. In this manner, the amount of money from French household incomes invested in such products was 180 billion euros in 2020.
