Canadian federal election results in British Columbia 2021
On September 20, 2021 the 44th federal election was held in Canada. As a result of the election, outgoing Prime Minister Justin Trudeau once again found himself at the head of a minority Liberal government, gaining only two more seats than he had at the time of the dissolution of Parliament. When looking at the provincial results, it appears that citizens of British Columbia voted more in favor of the New Democratic Party than the Canadian average. More than 29 percent of British Columbians voted for Jagmeet Singh's party, compared to 17.8 percent for the national average.
