Tanzania: bed occupancy rate of hotels 2019-2020

Tanzania's hotel industry showed signs of recovery in December 2020. That month, the bed occupancy rate was measured at 40.6 percent. It was still depressed in comparison to December 2019. However, the bed occupancy improved significantly compared to the second quarter of 2020, when it reached the lowest level, at 9.3 percent, due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
