A 2020 survey focused on domestic tourists cycling on summer vacation in Italy. According to the study, over half of respondents practiced cycling activities during the summer holidays. Meanwhile, 45 percent of surveyed Italian travelers considered cycling to be the main purpose of their summer trip.
