What experiences are British consumers currently having when shopping for food items? Between March 16 and 27, 2022, approximately 37 percent of responding British shoppers were confronted with less variety in stores. Around 33 percent of consumers did not find items they needed. Almost half of these consumers were unable to find replacement items for the unavailable products. Some British consumers have been spared these experiences and about 36 percent stated that they were not faced with any of the scenarios posted in the survey.
