Distribution of waste items found on the foreshore of the River Thames 2015-2018
Between 2015 and 2018, the waste items most found on the foreshore of the River Thames were food wrappers, cotton bud sticks, drink bottles and drink lids, plastic cups, and take-away containers. These six items accounted for 64 percent of total identifiable plastic items found.
