Countries where homosexual couples can jointly adopt children 2020, by continent
As of 2020, 28 countries and jurisdictions had fully recognized the possibility to jointly adopt children to same-sex couples. In America and Europe, more countries permitted homosexual couples to adopt children than in Oceania, Asia, and Africa. In Africa, this was possible only in South Africa, while in Asia only same-sex couples in Israel could adopt children.
