When asked how they felt about shopping in-store in late February and early March, 2021, i.e., when many American citizens were beginning to get vaccinated against the coronavirus, approximately half of surveyed consumers in the United States stated they felt somewhat or very comfortable visiting physical stores. Specifically, Gen X consumers were the most comfortable with shopping in physical outlets.
