According to a survey on retail shopping conducted by Rakuten Insight in June 2021 in India, 24 percent of male and 23 percent of female shoppers stated that they shop for non-grocery items in physical stores once a week. A much smaller percentage, five percent for males and females, stated that they shop for these items only several times per year.
