According to a survey on retail shopping conducted by Rakuten Insight in June 2021 in India, 72 percent respondents between the age of 25 and 34 years stated that once COVID-19 restrictions were lifted, they planned to go shopping in physical stores as frequently as they did before the pandemic. 41 percent respondents above the age of 55 years stated that they would not be shopping as frequently in physical stores.
