According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight among South Koreans in June 2021 on how much money they usually spend per shopping trip at a physical store, around 46 percent of respondents between 16 and 24 years old stated to spend under 50 thousand South Korean won on average. Respondents aged 35 to 54 tended to spend more per trip than the other age groups per offline shopping trip.
