According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight among South Koreans in June 2021 on their intention to shop in physical stores as frequently as before COVID-19 after restrictions were lifted, around 74 percent of respondents answered they would return to their previous shopping behavior. A majority of respondents of the same survey had stated that the frequency of their shopping had changed during the coronavirus pandemic.
