Reasons to not shop offline after COVID-19 restrictions are lifted South Korea 2021
According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight among South Koreans in June 2021 on their reasons to not shop in physical stores as frequently as they did before the coronavirus even after restrictions were lifted, the leading reasons were that they liked mixing on- and offline shopping, and that they wanted to avoid crowds in order to not catch the virus after all, with a share of around 28 percent of respondents each. A preference for online shopping was named by roughly 27 percent of respondents.
