According to a study conducted in 2020, 82 percent of Benin's working population taking part in the survey would work remotely for an employer with no physical presence in their country. The share was high also in Zambia and Cote d'Ivoire - each at 80 percent. In South Africa, 73 percent of the respondents was willing to work remotely without a physical workplace.
