Post pandemic online purchase intention in Brazil, by channel and category
The digitalization of general shopping and the COVID-19 pandemic seems to go hand-in-hand in terms of consumers' purchase intention. A July 2021 survey reported that the first choice for online orders in Brazil was mostly e-commerce websites, besides other digital channels. Among all categories, consumers were most feasible to purchase appliances online, with 27 percent via websites, followed by 15 percent on marketplaces.
