Online art platforms accepting cryptocurrencies for art sales worldwide 2019-2021
According to a study published in October 2021, the share of online art platforms worldwide accepting cryptocurrencies as payment for artworks increased gradually between 2019 and 2021. As of 2021, roughly 13 percent of surveyed online marketplaces allowed cryptocurrencies as payment for art sales, while 30 percent of the sample was considering introducing this option.
