
Online service purchase adoption due to COVID-19 in Mexico 2020, by category
According to a survey conducted in February 2021, restaurant food was the service category that grew the most in Mexicans' online shopping repertoire during the COVID-19 pandemic. Nearly a quarter (22 percent) of respondents reported having started conducting transactions online for services in this category due to the health crisis. Meanwhile, 19 percent said they began paying for telecommunications services online.
