Sweden: Christmas shopping in-store 2020-2021
In 2020, 48 percent of Swedish shoppers expected slightly fewer people to do their Christmas shopping in physical stores. A year later, that number decreased considerably, reaching 21 percent. Shoppers were expecting a holiday season with fewer regulations related to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, and towards the end of 2021 11 percent of Swedish consumers thought there would be a lot more people doing their holiday shopping in-store.
