People with upper secondary education in Iceland 2011-2019, by country of birth
The population born in the EU had the highest share of people with an upper secondary education in Iceland from 2011-2019. In 2019, almost 40 percent of the population born in the EU had an upper secondary education, whereas the numbers were 35 and 23 percent for the local-born and non-EU-born population, respectively. 2016 was the year when the three groups combined had the highest share of people with an upper secondary education.
