Japan: most popular Super Mario characters 2021

According to a survey conducted in May 2021, Yoshi was the most popular character of the Super Mario franchise in Japan, with more than 18 percent of respondents stating to like this character the most. The survey was conducted due to the 35th anniversary of the release of Super Mario Bros. for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES).
