Public opinion on whether immigrants take jobs away from nationals Latin America 2021
In 2021, a survey showed that 62 percent of Colombians believed that immigrants take jobs away from real Colombia’s nationals. Around 53 percent of Peruvian respondents also agreed with this statement. Colombians had also the highest percentage among selected Latin American countries on respondents agreeing that their country would be stronger if it stopped immigration.
