Japan: revenue of correspondence delivery services

In the fiscal year 2020, correspondence delivery services earned approximately 19.8 billion Japanese yen of revenue, increasing slightly from 19.3 billion yen in the preceding fiscal year.
Reforming its postal services in 2007, Japan introduced permits for corporations to engage in designated segments of the correspondence delivery business on which the public administration formerly had a monopoly.
