The proportion of online sales on all retailing in Australia was around 10.6 percent in December 2023. The proportion of online sales for food retailing rose from 5.2 percent in December 2022 to 5.7 percent in December 2023. To date, the highest proportion of online sales for non-food retailing was recorded in September 2021 at 25.5 percent.
