Role of women's rights policies in French women's voting 2021, by sexual orientation
As the first post-MeToo presidential campaign takes place, the media agitation surrounding the openly misogynistic almost-candidate Eric Zemmour is causing concern for many, and it seems that issues related to the defense of women's rights and the fight against sexism are of great importance in the electoral concerns of French women. If these issues are not decisive for all women (47 percent of women consider this theme decisive), it is particularly so for the youngest, and for the quasi totality of non-heterosexual women.
