Share of culture-goers visiting museums and galleries during COVID-19 in Canada 2021

A December 2021 study identified the intention of culture-goers to attend museums and art galleries in Canada during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. According to the survey, 34 percent of respondents stated to have already attended a museum or an art gallery since the pandemic. In contrast, six percent of interviewed Canadians did not intend to visit such cultural institutions during the health crisis. Meanwhile, 24 percent of the sample was unsure regarding attending museums and art galleries.
