Japan: preferred condiments for deep-fried food 2021

The most popular sauce used as a condiment for deep-fried food in Japan was tartar sauce as revealed in a survey conducted in June 2021. While almost 45 percent of respondents named the mayonnaise-type sauce their favorite, varieties of Worcestershire sauces followed closely behind.
Chuno and thick sauces refer to a type of Worcestershire sauces with a higher viscosity than the original product.
