In 2023, the total oil refinery capacity in Libya stood at 634,000 barrels per calendar day. The Ras Lanuf refinery had the highest refinery capacity, reaching 220,000 barrels per calendar day. In addition, the Zawia refinery had a refinery capacity of 120,000 barrels per calendar day as of the same year. All the refineries are operated by the National Oil Corporation (NOC), Libya's state-owned oil company.
