Japan: share of artist groups' income to decline by half by segment 2020

In a survey conducted in April and May 2021 regarding the consequences of COVID-19 on the world of art in Japan during 2020, close to 94 percent of artist groups involved in popular performing arts stated that their revenue generated from cultural activities declined by more than half.
