Educational attainment in Norway 2020, by gender
In Norway, the share of people between 25 and 64 years of age with a tertiary education was higher among women than among men. More than half of all women within this age group in Norway had a tertiary education in 2020, whereas just below 40 percent of men had the same. Furthermore, 43 percent of men had an upper secondary education, whereas 33 percent of women had the same. The share was almost equal for people with a primary or lower secondary education.
