Reasons for U.S. users to download video content from streaming apps Q3 2021
According to a survey of users in the United States, during the third quarter of 2021, 34 percent of respondents were downloading video content onto their streaming app in order to avoid buffering. Approximately 32 percent reported downloading films, videos, and series from their streaming apps because they were planning to be somewhere without Wi-Fi or cell service. By comparison, almost three in ten reported never downloading from a streaming service app.
