According to a survey conducted worldwide, a total of 55 percent of Gen Z video streaming consumers used those services because of staying at home more due to COVID-19 as of the second quarter of 2021. In comparison, one in four of the same generation watched content on video streaming platforms because they offer exclusive content and live events.
