As of September 2023, the biomass power plants in Fukuoka prefecture had a maximum output capacity of approximately 488.32 thousand kilowatt, making Fukuoka the prefecture with the largest biomass power capacity. In contrast, Kyoto prefecture only had an output capacity of about one thousand kilowatt.
